Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using StudioIvo. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by them.
1. About StudioIvo
StudioIvo ("the Service") is a studio management platform for photographers and videographers, developed and operated by FilmPix Studios ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service govern your use of StudioIvo at app.studioivo.com and the associated website at studioivo.com.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use StudioIvo. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
3. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@studioivo.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
You may not share your account or create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.
4. Free trial
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial period, the account will be restricted unless you subscribe to a paid plan. We do not automatically charge you after the trial ends.
5. Subscription and billing
Plans
StudioIvo is offered on a subscription basis. Current pricing is displayed at studioivo.com/#pricing. Prices are listed in Euros (EUR) and may vary by billing interval.
Billing
Subscriptions are billed in advance, either monthly or annually depending on the plan you choose. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings page in the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to the Service until that date. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
Price changes
We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days notice. Continued use of the Service after the price change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new pricing.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use StudioIvo to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Upload or distribute malware, viruses, or malicious code
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
- Use the Service to store or distribute illegal content
- Reverse-engineer, copy, or reproduce any part of the Service without our written permission
- Resell or sublicense the Service without our written permission
7. Your data
You retain full ownership of all content and data you upload or create within StudioIvo (clients, projects, contracts, invoices, gallery files, etc.). We do not claim any rights over your data.
You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
We do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.
8. Calendar feed
StudioIvo provides each studio with a unique ICS calendar feed URL. This URL is private to your studio and contains schedule data (shoot dates, invoice due dates, and lead follow-up dates). You are responsible for keeping this URL confidential. We are not liable for any disclosure that results from sharing your calendar URL with unauthorised parties.
9. Inquiry form
StudioIvo provides each studio with a public inquiry form at a unique URL. When a prospective client submits this form, their data (name, email address, and any other fields they choose to complete) is stored in your studio account and a notification is sent to you by email.
As the studio owner, you are the data controller for any personal data collected through your inquiry form. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the inquiry form complies with applicable data protection law, including providing any required privacy notices to the individuals whose data you collect.
You may deactivate your inquiry form at any time from Settings. You are responsible for keeping your inquiry form link private from unauthorised parties. We are not liable for any submission received as a result of your inquiry link being shared without your consent.
10. Data export and deletion
You may request an export of your data at any time by contacting support@studioivo.com. If you close your account, your data will be deleted within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Service availability
We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance, apply updates, or suspend the Service temporarily with or without notice. We are not liable for any loss resulting from downtime or unavailability.
12. Intellectual property
StudioIvo, including its design, code, branding, and content, is owned by FilmPix Studios and protected by intellectual property law. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to our intellectual property beyond the limited right to use the Service as described here.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FilmPix Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
14. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and applicable national law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
